very interesting read. i noticed a few years ago that there were no longer any mallards on goat island, but also no ducks in hyde park. i thought the influx of canadian geese was the reason for the displacement of the ducks. i figured the ducks couldn't compete with the geese for food, as they have similar diets.Â
Bob fascinates me because we are in different circles and have different backgrounds and he continuously enlightens me with observations like these.
