ILLEGAL VEHICLE: For the second time in two weeks, an officer encountered a vehicle with Ontario plates that came back to a different vehicle. This time, the incident occurred at about 5:55 p.m. Monday at Pine Avenue and 39th Street. The driver, a Krull Parkway resident, was charged with operating a vehicle without financial security, operating an unregistered vehicle and improper plates.
FALLS CHICKS: Police were called to 1929 Niagara St. at 8:54 p.m. Monday where a pair of angry 22nd Street women were standing in the street and yelling obscenities at the residence. Their actions caused public annoyance and alarm leading neighbors to open doors and windows to see what was going on. Both parties were placed under arrest. One was so irate she threw her shoes at an officer and struggled as they attempted to handcuff her. Both parties were charged with disorderly conduct.
ILLEGAL VEHICLE: Police were on patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard near 60th Street at about 6:07 p.m. Saturday when an Axon plate reader alerted them to a vehicle being operated by a driver with a suspended license and registration.
PETIT LARCENY: Police were called to Dollar General Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 10:22 a.m. Saturday for a report of a shoplifter. A Portage Road man was found behind Pine Plaza with a selection of chips, cookies and socks valued at $57.07 because he was charged with petit larceny.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police were called to 931 Michigan Avenue for a report of criminal mischief at about 4 p.m. Sunday. She had been called by her boss who saw on security camera a woman swing a metal pole and throwing rocks, damaging the caller’s vehicle. The caller identified herself as the daily driver of the car. She confronted the alleged vandal who told here “this is not your car. This is Rodney’s car! Give me the keys to the vehicle and I will go away.” A Lockport woman was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. Damage was estimated at about $300.
