PETIT LARCENY: A West Rivershore Drive resident was charged with petit larceny after allegedly skip scanning $121 in good from Target at about 1 p.m. Friday.
PETIT LARCENY: An East Aurora man was charged with petit larceny after allegedly taking a belt, beer and iced tea from Walmart without paying at 4:11 p.m. Friday. The items were valued at $23.43.
MENACING AND RESISTING: Police were called to Tops Portage Road for a report of a man with a knife at about 6:41 p.m. Friday. An Apple Court, Niagara Falls man was wielding a knife and causing a commotion. The suspect refused to comply with officers and was taken into custody with force and charged with menacing and resisting arrest.
BURGLARY: A Pasadena Avenue man was charged with possession of stolen property and trespassing after he was caught at a 67th Street residence in the backyard at about 2 a.m. Sunday. He claimed he was pursuing two stray kittens. The bike he was riding was identified as stolen.
PAY YOUR TICKETS: A Willow Avenue man was charged with criminal tampering, criminal mischief and petit larceny after he removed a boot from a car that had been booted for parking tickets at about 8 a.m. Friday. The owner of the vehicle owed more than $3,200 in tickets and fines and had called city hall to say she would not be paying.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Police were called to a Hyde Park address for a report of two males fighting at about 9:44 p.m. Sunday. Police thought they had diffused the dispute but one of the combatants re-escalated and was charged with disorderly conduct.
