HARASSMENT: A man came to police headquarters on Monday afternoon to report he had been harassed at a 9th Street address where a gentleman flicked the brim of his hat, accused him of stealing drugs and whacked him with a broomstick. No suspect could be identified.
HARASSMENT: Police were called to a Cayuga Drive residence where a victim reported at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday he had been choked and threatened with a knife by Raymond Wall, 53, of 600 Cayuga Drive Extension. Wall allegedly told the victim “I’ll fucking kill you. I did 15 years in prison. I will slit your fucking throat.” Wall was charged with criminally obstructing breathing, 2nd degree menacing and harassment.
BURGLARY: A resident of the 1500 block of 13th Street reported someone burglarized his apartment during the day Tuesday and took a safe and its contents valued at about $3,000.
NO INSURANCE: Police on patrol on Center Avenue at about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday were alerted to a vehicle operating with a suspended registration and no insurance. They executed a traffic stop and charge Aijanae Sanders, 21, of 4A Jordan Gardens with driving a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration.
PETIT LARCENY: A woman parked her vehicle in the Seneca Niagara Casino ramp, left it unlocked and returned to find change and her Ipad missing sometime late Tuesday afternoon.
GUN FOUND: Officers on patrol supporting probation officers observed two people on probation on 19th Street and stopped to do a compliance check. Dominic Russell, 32, of 426 26th St. upper attempted to flee at about 6:13 p.m. Wednesday from after officers addressed him by name and said probation would like to speak with him. Russell was captured nearby and found to be in possession of a
Cocked 9mm Taurus handgun with a bullet chambered and 14 rounds in the magazine. He was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, a C felony as well as obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
