It’s at the heart of the case against the ex-President and his co-conspirators. It appears Republican operatives attempted to mess with voting in the 2020 election but were unsuccessful.
It’s interesting when I contrast it to our process in New York. We have a signature requirement but the inspectors seem to know 80% of everyone who walks in the door. The biggest problems we have are 1) Turnout (less than 25% in the recent primary) and not having an open primary. I could make an argument for Rank Choice voting as well but reality is the Republicans nationally haven’t won the popular vote since Reagan. That is whack.
