Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced an $825 million grant to Albany NanoTech on Wednesday. The allocation, which might be threatened by the incoming administration, now can’t be pulled back without a court fight. Schumer has a great history of bringing major funding to places like Buffalo, Rochester, Batavia, Albany, Poughkeepsie and Utica but only comes to Niagara Falls to prattle about border policy never to help the community or bring investment.
