It was a cold March day but Art in the Park happened.
The event, at Cataract House Park, was staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Turtle, Niagara Beautification Commission and other organizations.
Guests took away seeds, painted turtles and made crafts and bee wax spruce balm in the shadow of the Turtle building and on the site of what was once the Cataract House hotel.
There is certainly room for debate about who is the better choice to run the Pavilion, and I am not going to enter into that one as I have no knowledge of either group.
Sunny, with a high of 77 and low of 55 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear overnight.
