Niagara Falls Police Blotter
LARCENY: Officers were called to a Pierce Avenue residence for a report of larceny at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The victim reported the theft of stereo and other equipment valued at more than $3,000 but didn’t seem to be giving police the full story. The investigation is ongoing.
RESISTING ARREST: Police were called to Pine Avenue and Robbins Drive for a report of a disabled vehicle which had run out of gas at about 5:36 p.m. Saturday. The driver, a Linwood Avenue resident, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. She objected strenuously and was additionally charged with resisting arrest.
DISORDERLY: Police were called to a Pierce Avenue address for a report of a disorderly person ranting and raving in the street at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday. Police attempted to calm the agitated suspect who continued to scream epithets as neighbors came to their porches for the show. After a couple more “shit” and some “fuck” she was taken into custody on a charge of disorderly conduct.
JERK: Police were called to Target at about 5:51 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shoplifter. The suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise valued at $164. The unhappy suspect uttered threats toward police including “I ain’t making threats. I am making a promise. I’m gonna follow you home.”
