MENACING: Police were called to a Portage Road residence for a report of an unwanted person at 11 p.m. Tuesday. A 31-year old male of that address was allegedly intoxicated and smelled like fruity alcohol. He became aggressive toward police and noncompliant, blading his body and acting like he was going to fight. He was taken into custody forcibly and charged with harassment, resisting arrest and menacing.
WARRANT EXECUTION: Police on patrol in Pine Avenue observed a 49-year-old homeless man wanted on a Niagara County Sheriff's Department warrant and took the suspect into custody on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
