NIAGARA COUNTY, NY September 23, 2026 — The Cultural Alliance of Niagara (CAN) is proud to announce the launch of the CAN Reciprocal Membership Program, a new initiative designed to connect residents and visitors with the rich network of arts, history, culture, and heritage organizations throughout Niagara County.
The program allows members of participating cultural organizations to enjoy special benefits at fellow CAN member institutions, creating new opportunities to explore Niagara County’s vibrant cultural landscape while supporting the organizations that make it thrive.
Participating organizations include museums, historic sites, performing arts organizations, cultural centers, and educational institutions across the region. Benefits range from discounted admission and gift shop savings to special event access and waived fees. Participating benefits are listed on CAN’s Reciprocal Program landing page.
The Reciprocal Membership Program reflects CAN’s mission to promote, connect, and elevate arts and cultural organizations that serve Niagara County’s residents and visitors. By encouraging visitors to discover new organizations, the program helps expand audiences, increase cultural participation, and showcase the breadth of experiences available throughout the county.
“Niagara County is home to an incredible network of cultural organizations, many of which people may not realize are right in their own backyard,” said Alexandria Lang, CAN’s President. “This program invites our communities to explore more, experience more, and support the organizations that help make Niagara County such a vibrant place to live and visit all while receiving discounts and benefits.”
The launch comes as CAN continues its work to build stronger cultural infrastructure throughout Niagara County. Recent research identified more than 235 arts and cultural organizations across the county, supporting hundreds of jobs and contributing significantly to the region’s quality of life and economy.
CAN organizations include: Aquarium of Niagara, Artpark, Castellani Art Museum, Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, The Kenan Center, Lewiston Council on the Arts, Niagara Arts & Cultural Center, Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, Niagara History Center, Old Fort Niagara and Prophet Isiah Robertson Second Coming House.
