BURGLARY: A Quay Street resident said he was watching TV at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday when he looked up and saw a man in his kitchen. He asked the man how he got in and he said through the window. He asked him to leave and took a pry bar from him. Police coming to the scene observed the suspect in the alley and stopped to talk to him. He made no sense. Roger Baginski, 55, of 939 Ontario Ave. Baginski was charged with burglary, possession of burglar tools and criminal mischief.

UNWANTED PERSON: Officers responded to a Niagara Avenue address for a report of an unwanted person at about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday. James Walker, 25, of 550 77th St. was observed driving from the scene and was pulled over and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

DWI: Julie MacKellar, 45, of Grand Island, was observed driving erratically on Buffalo Avenue at about 1:54 a.m. Thursday. She voluntarily told police, who did not ask, she was coming from Foley’s and has two beers and a shot. She was charged with felony DWI, operating a motor vehicle with BAC in excess of .08 with a prior conviction, driving left of pavement markings and possession of alcohol/cannabis in a motor vehicle.

TRAFFIC STOP: Police on patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 4:04 a.m. last Wednesday observed a vehicle with temporary Texas plates and executed a traffic stop. Crystal Rodgers, 41, of 1510 Willow Ave. was charged with improper plates, illegal headlamp and driving an unregistered vehicle.

TRAFFIC STOP: An officer on patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard near Packard Road at about 2 p.m. last Wednesday observed a vehicle traveling 50 in a 35 mph zone and executed a traffic stop. Antonio Miles, 48, of Lockport, was charged with no insurance, suspended registration and speeding.

SHOPLIFTER: Officers were called to Tops Portage road at about 9:40 p.m. last Wednesday for a suspected shoplifter,Tyler McCarty, 31, of Cheektowaga, was arrested on a charge of petit larceny. He allegedly concealed items on his person and failed to include them in his order before attempting to exit the store.

UNWANTED PARTY: Officers were called to a dispute at Pine Avenue 7/11 where Jasmin Winkfield, 37, of 2211 Michigan Ave. was allegedly behaving irately at about 1:45 a.m. Thursday. Winkfield was a former employee and was attempting to enter the rear of the store to use the washroom. She allegedly became irate when asked to leave, damaging a Door Dash printer and a Fireball display. She was charged with criminal mischief/intentional damage to property.

TRAFFIC STOP: An officer on patrol on McKoon Avenue had to take evasive action after a car turned in front of him at 3:53 p.m. Thursday. Luis Ubiles, 53, of 9815 Niagara Falls Blvd. was charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance, moving from a lane unsafely, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, and aggravated unlicensed operation.TRAFFIC STOP: An officer on patrol on 19th Street at about 1:57 a.m. Saturday was alerted by a license-plate reader to a suspended registration and initiated a traffic stop Marquan Fair, 26, of 620 23rd St. was arrested on charges of operating with a suspended registration, no insurance and driving with a suspended license.

DISPUTE: Police were called to Wrobel Towers at about 9 p.m. Saturday for a dispute between a guard and a visitor. Errol Vanduyne, 56, of Memorial Parkway was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
