Work continued all weekend on repairing the southbound 190 bridge over Niagara Falls Boulevard.
Trucks on the scene carry signage for BVR Construction, a contractor for the State Department of Transportation.
Workers have been trying to straighten/reinforce the second beam in.
They will then move to the outermost beam.
One lane was closed for weeks prior to the strike on November 13 that took the bridge out of service. That closure was caused by a previously unreported strike.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 42 and low of 35 degrees. Overcast during the morning,
Thanks for covering this event. Maybe next time I will send you a drone picture of all 200 of us, and you can then post that.Â
Does anyone know the proper process in Niagara Falls, NY for getting bulk trash or debris removed from a private yard? I’m trying to figure out who handles it and what steps residents are supposed to follow.
I would say organize a group of people to address the property you are concerned about and bring it to the curb on May 9, the annual Niagara Beautification Commission cleanup. Casella will pick it up.
