Work continues on bridge

Work continued all weekend on repairing the southbound 190 bridge over Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Trucks on the scene carry signage for BVR Construction, a contractor for the State Department of Transportation.

Workers have been trying to straighten/reinforce the second beam in.

They will then move to the outermost beam.

One lane was closed for weeks prior to the strike on November 13 that took the bridge out of service. That closure was caused by a previously unreported strike.
