Last winter, I decided I was going to try and buy tickets to a Bills game right before Christmas so I could attend with our sons Joe and Ben.
Three decent tickets with taxes and fees were going to run about $800. That’s insane.
It’s even worse now. 3 upper deck seats, midfield. $1,378 for the New Orleans Saints.
I decided to go another route. Hey, if the Bills are out of reach, why not Sabres? Two tickets for 11 games in the nosebleeds. $1,482.
Let’s see: What’s a better value? $134 per game or $460? Maybe I’ll save my money and take a walk by the river instead. Then again, 2 tickets for Fuzzy and the Rustbelts were $18 each. That seems like a better option. Better yet, the Blues Festival tonight and Saturday is free on Old Falls Street last weekend was free, just like Music is Art over the weekend.
