BEANBAG STOLEN: An Ashland Avenue resident reported the theft of a beanbag valued at $250 from their porch on Tuesday. The victim reported this is the 3rd incident since August. Police advised to stop leaving valuable items on the porch.

PETIT LARCENY: A Gasport woman was charged with petit larceny Tuesday after she allegedly took items without paying from Tops and Family Dollar.

MENACING: At a Pierce Avenue address at about 1:55 p.m. Wednesday police were called for a report of menacing. A man allegedly pointed a gun at a woman whose brother is married to his stepdaughter. The suspect had left the scene and returned as police showed up. “That’s him. He had a gun,” the woman said. Police patted down the suspect, found no weapon and took him into custody. The victim alleged the suspect had pointed a gun at her and said “I am going to murder your brother.” While the suspect was in the back of a patrol car, he yelled at the victim “when I get out I am going to blow your head off bitch.”

BURGLARY: A man observed Ring Camera footage showing his Lockport Street residence being burglarized at about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday. Police viewed the camera footage, identified the suspects and found them walking on Niagara Avenue.They were charged with burglary, petit larceny and criminal mischief.
