BIKE STOLEN: A man visiting an apartment at 4600 Hyde Park Boulevard reported someone stole his 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa sometime Wednesday night.
UNREGISTERED: An officer on patrol on Pine Avenue shortly after midnight Wednesday observed an unregistered vehicle and executed a traffic stop writing tickets for no inspection and operating an unregistered vehicle. The suspect became extremely irate but was not additionally charged for his tantrum.
PETIT LARCENY: A shift manager at Walgreen’s Pine Avenue reported a man stole a quantity of gum without paying and fled on a bike. She knew the man from the neighborhood and gave police a description. He was located near Pine and 15th and brought back to the scene at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. He was charged with petit larceny and given a trespass notice.
