Artpark schedule fills

Artpark’s schedule is filling up. Avoid fees. Buy tickets at the box office.

If you're looking to revisit the '80s and relish in the nostalgia, Artpark just announced a concert that might pique your interest.

The Lewiston concert venue will host a night of '80s hits. The main attraction is Howard Jones, who will be supported by Wang Chung, The English Beat, and Modern English on his "Things Can Only Get Better Tour." That show is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Jones is best known for hits such as "Things Can Only Get Better," "What Is Love, and "No One Is To Blame."

Wang Chung will bring its own hits, including "Dance Hall Days" and "Everybody Have Fun Tonight." The English Beat is known for "Save It For Later," and Modern English found mainstream success with "I Melt With You."

Another Artpark concert announced in the past week includes Gov’t Mule, with JJ Grey & Mofro, on Aug. 6.
