PETIT LARCENY: A 92nd Street man reported someone stole $300, a wallet and a checkbook from his residence sometime between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. Thursday.
RADIO THEFT: Several times in the last few days in the north end of the city, someone has smashed a vehicle window and stolen a car stereo. It happened last Tuesday on LaSalle Ave.
PETIT LARCENY: Police were called to Target at about 9:40 p.m. Thursday for a report of a shoplifter. A 100th Street resident was in the store close to closing time and was observed taking clothing into a fitting room. An observant employee watched, confronting the suspect, who has some of the clothing on, some in her purse and admitted she did not intend to pay for any of it. She was charged with petit larceny.
