Walking
August concludes my 4th month of walking an average of at least 10,000 steps a day. I used to do Crossfit and walk around sore all the time. Since I became more dedicated to walking, I no longer have that constant soreness, pulls, strains or injuries. I just feel good.
DiCamillos
Given the number of tours I have led this summer, you might think I would get sick of DiCamillo’s Bakery. I don’t think it is possible. I love their spinach ricotta pie.
Power City Bar and Grill
I stopped in the other day at the former Power City Eatery and had a brief chat with Sham Ahad. Ahad has been operating Mother Clucker’s Food Truck for the last several years.
His new venture is open for breakfast. Lunch is to come. Eventually, it will become a full-service bar with a liquor license. I am glad the space didn’t stay vacant for long.
