SHOPLIFTING: A Niagara Falls officer working a side gig as Walmart security was advised of two females switching price tags on items and then checking out at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday. Janire Newton, 32, of 4600 Hyde Park Blvd. and Ciera Spillman, 30, of the same address were charged with petit larceny.
GUN FOUND: Police were called to 2163 North Avenue to assist Niagara County probation with a visit of Gregory White, 33, of that address. While was in handcuffs. Police searched the premises and located a .40 caliber Ruger semi-automatic handgun with no serial numbers and 14-rounds in the clip. White was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a defaced weapon, and criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, all felonies.
SHOPLIFTING: A Niagara Falls officer working a side gig as Walmart security at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday was alerted to a pair of females allegedly failing to scan all items in the self-checkout area. Linda Johnson, 44, and Lawvera Johnson, 21 of Lockport were charged with petit larceny. A total of 16 items valued at almost $100 were not scanned.
NEIGHBOR DISPUTE: Police were called to an address in the 400 block of 26th Street after a neighbor dispute at about 6 p.m. resulted in a man getting pepper sprayed. Kelli Bartlett, 29, of Main Street, Niagara Falls was charged with assault with intent to cause injury with a weapon.
PETIT LARCENY: A woman unloading items for a birthday party at the Rapids Bowling Center at about 8:24 Friday reported a man on a bike entered her vehicle and stole $300 and cards. She followed him into Cayuga Village but could not identify where he went.
STOLEN PHONE: A Casino patron playing slots reported someone stole their I-phone at about 10 p.m. Saturday.
