Homicide free summer ends

Murder free summer ends in late August

Shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the scene of a shooting/stabbing at 9th and Ferry Streets, the scene of an annual block party.

We don’t know specifics but the idea of a murder-free summer is over.
