Block Club promotes Night Out

The Garden and Highland Community Block Club has announced its upcoming National Night Out on August 6, 2024. Held annually on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out aims to foster camaraderie and mutual trust between police and the community.

This event provides a positive platform for police officers and neighbors to connect. It also offers an excellent opportunity for county legislature members, assemblymen, law enforcement personnel, firefighters, emergency responders, government officials, and civic agencies to engage with residents, building relationships that contribute to a safer and more caring community.

Join us for a fantastic day filled with food, fun, and community spirit! Enjoy complimentary hotdogs, chips, fruit, snacks, and drinks, along with great music. Children can bounce in the bounce house and participate in basketball games. The event will feature a short program with guest speakers.

The block club invites businesses, churches and civic agencies to participate by distributing information about services.

Please bring a table, chair, and tent for your setup. Additionally, monetary contributions can be mailed to GHC Block Club, PO Box 1933, NF, NY 14302 (payable to GHC Block Club).
