From 6-7:30 p.m., tonight the Castellani Art Museum will host a discussion of the artistic influences in Polly King’s work, how her style was influenced by the Modern Masters, and the role of women in the Modern Art movement.
This talk will explore the role of women in WNY artistic circles in the 20th century and Polly’s intersection with the artistic world. Participants can explore the Colors Sing to Me Polly King exhibition, as well as other adjacent exhibitions that feature female artists and movements addressed in the discussion.
This program and the exhibition are sponsored by the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area in partnership with the Castellani Art Museum and Don and Betty King Family.
