DWI: Police responded to an accident near 627 17th St. where 4 or 5 vehicles were damaged at about 2:53 a.m. Monday leaving a 100-foot trail of damage. Witnesses said Deja Wilson, 23, of 538 Portage Road had climbed out of the driver’s seat. Wilson denied to police being the driver. She claimed she let her cousin dry and said “she didn’t think it was too bad”, and that “she knew he fucked something up” and “every airbag popped off.” Asked where her cousin was, she said “I don’t know.” Numerous witnesses at the scene identified Wilson as the driver. When an officer attempted to handcuff Wilson, she took a fighting stance and punched the cop in the face. Wilson was charged with DWI, felony 2nd degree assault and obstructing governmental administration.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police responded to Gill Creek Park early Monday morning where two park benches valued at $1,100 had been damaged,

HARASSMENT: Enterprise on Niagara Falls Boulevard reported at about noon Monday a passenger in a vehicle being returned exited the vehicle and entered the office with a lit cigarette. The man became irate when told smoking was prohibited. The customer agreed to pay a smoking surcharge. The smoker allegedly threatened to return with a gun and rob the place.

ARCADE MACHINES ROBBED: Police are investigating an ongoing problem with money being stolen from arcade games adjacent to the Culinary Institute on Old Falls Street.

DAMAGED DOOR: A resident of Marine Memorial Drive reported someone damaged his rear door, attempting to pry it open sometime between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday.

STRAY DOG FOUND: An emaciated animal was located near Wrobel Towers on Niagara Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. Monday. It was turned over to the animal control officer and transported to the shelter.
