Alleged murderer caught
Niagara Falls Police have made an arrest in the murder of 24-year-old, Jaylan McWilson, which occurred on the evening of Saturday, January 21st in the 1100 block of South Ave.
Thursday afternoon, 19-year-old, Amherst resident, Dennis D. Parson was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Taskforce in Amherst. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Niagara Falls Police Department and the U.S. Service with assistance from the Amherst Police Department.
Parson will be arraigned in Niagara Falls City Court on Friday morning. Parson is charged with one count of Murder 2nd degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree.
