EVICTED OR NOT?: A resident of 517 88th St., undergoing eviction proceedings, told her landlord she moved out. He changed the deadbolt. Police were called to the scene at 11:37 a.m. Friday where the tenant showed them court paperwork of a July 2 eviction hearing. The landlord showed police a text message showing the text message from the tenant saying she was gone. A neighbor confided in police she had helped the tenant climb in a side window. The tenant told police she never used the deadbolt and didn’t have a key. She used the knob lock. Police took her into custody on charges of criminal trespassing and tampering.

DISPUTE: A pair of Albion women went to an Ontario Avenue residence as part of an ongoing dispute. They were confronting a group of people and were being loud, combative and argumentative at about 9:10 p.m. Saturday. Police took both into custody on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

DWI: Police were called to 70th Street and Buffalo Avenue for a car versus pole accident at 11:47 p.m. Saturday. The suspect, a 56th Street woman, had slurred speech and offered police her “licenstration,” in addition to being unable to keep her story straight about where she was coming from or going to. She failed field sobriety tests and was charged with moving from a lane unsafely, DWI and no license.

PETIT LARCENY: A Grand Island resident was arrested at 9:07 p.m. June 3 on a charge of petit larceny at Target on Niagara Falls Boulevard after she allegedly failed to pay for merchandise valued at $348.95.

DISORDERLY: Police were called to a 13th Street resident at about 5:16 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 where a man was standing on the sidewalk yelling, hoping to get a resident to come outside and fight. Police asked the yelling man to quiet down and leave the scene. When he refused, they charged him with disorderly conduct.
