Niagara Falls, NY – Niagara County Legislator Chris McKimmie will host his next “Coffee with Chris” community forum on Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. The event will feature New York State Senator Rob Ortt, who serves as the Republican Leader of the New York State Senate.
“Coffee with Chris” provides residents of Niagara Falls and the Town of Niagara with an opportunity to engage directly with elected officials, ask questions, and discuss issues impacting their community, including public safety, affordability, and state policy.
“Senator Ortt has joined us before and always brings a straightforward and insightful perspective on what’s happening in Albany,” said McKimmie. “I’m looking forward to having him back and giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from him.”
McKimmie hosts the monthly event to ensure accessibility and open communication between residents and their government. The informal setting allows for meaningful conversation on the issues that matter most to the community.
Sunny, with a high of 92 and low of 61 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear overnight.
I was in favor of the full removal but as usual things like fire truck, emergency access and maintenance access were wheeled out to justify keeping the road north of Findlay.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Brent. NY Dept. of Transportation traffic studies over the years have repeatedly established that Moses Parkway removal north of Findlay would result in only one additional vehicle every two minutes on Lewiston Road as it traverses Deveaux.
Mr. Hufnagle, thank you for continuing to fight this good fight for the citizens of Niagara Falls. Coming back to the area after many years, I've been thrilled with the changes so far to the area leading up to Findlay, and hope for more in the future.
