TRAFFIC STOP: An officer on patrol in the 400 block of 19th St. at 12:44 a.m. Tuesday was alerted by an automated plate reader that a GMC Terrain had a suspended registration. After executing a traffic stop, the Clinton Street, Buffalo driver was charged by police with aggravated unlicensed operation with more than 3 suspensions; operating with a suspended registration, operating while improperly licensed and no inspection certificate. The suspect had 20 scoffs on 8 dates.

BAD EMPLOYEE: Officers were called to Sam’s Club for an investigation at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1. An employee, who lives on Whitney Avenue was alleged to have been allowing people to leave the store without paying for goods. He received cash in the transaction. There was video evidence. Items stolen were valued at $2455.21. The suspect was charged with grand larceny.

MENACING: Police were called to 1321 Ontario Ave. at 2:23 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a disturbance involving a weapon. A man reported he was concerned about his roommate who was in the kitchen smashing dishes. The roommate entered the kitchen to find the suspect angry and aggressively wielding a kitchen knife saying “everybody needs to get out.” The roommate headed downstairs and called police for assistance. Police came to the scene and took the angry man into custody on a charge of menacing with a weapon.
