STOLEN WALLET: Police were called to the area of Quality Hotel on First Street at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday for a report of fraudulent credit card use after a man called about fraudulent transactions and stolen credit cards. Police observed a vehicle matching that of the suspects, placed one person in custody and were informed another was fleeing. That suspect fled out a side entrance and tried to escape but was chased down and charged with unlawful use of a credit card, resisting arrest, criminal possession of stolen property and unlawfully assuming another person’s identity to obtain stolen goods.
PETIT LARCENY: Police were called to Tops Portage Road for a report of a shoplifter at about 10:15 a.m. Monday. The Linwood Avenue suspect was charged with attempting to leave the store without paying for multiple items.
