Laws are just suggestions

Oh sure the House passed a law requiring release of the Epstein files but you know, “rules for thee, not for me”. It was just a suggestion. https://apnews.com/article/release-epstein-files-justice-department-trump-9290fcaad1cb6fcb1cbc1befabc01994?

Millions to forego insurance

Neither side has offered a viable alternative to the health insurance crisis. A Bronze plan with a high deductible for a married couple covering two people will go from about $500 a month to $1,500 in the New Year. The MAGA crowd on social media points out aptly premiums have skyrocketed at higher rates under Obamacare exchanges than in employer groups. And yet no one can offer an a functional alternative. https://www.npr.org/sections/shots-health-news/2025/12/19/nx-s1-5649459/aca-enhanced-subsidies-obamacare-uninsured-drop-coverage-medicaid-gap

Uncap the House

We need a Wyoming amendment that says the number of seats in the House of Representatives should be determined by dividing the number of residents in the census by the number of residents in the least populous state. That would give more representation to numerous states like Florida, Texas, New York and Pennsylvania while Alaska, North Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming would still have only one seat. Interestingly, it would not have made a difference in the Electoral College for the last Presidential election.
