If that forest above appeals to you, come explore it at 5 p.m. Saturday. Meet at the shelter by the dog park. Nico Santangelo will be leading a presentation and discussion on Eliza Kieg, a lonesome soul whose forest grave stands solo in the brush but not forgotten.
The horrid lesser celendine is now blooming but the forest is also surfeit with more beautiful things like trout lilies.
Sunny, with a high of 80 and low of 54 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear overnight.
Seneca AVENUE!
kudos to the bench guys & mr. braun. too bad he's doing something & the city isn't. when i moved back here in 2008, both pine ave & main st had flowers planted. that stopped in 2010. even boarded up store fronts don't look as bad when there are flowers planted near them. jsmh
