Free trees in Lewiston

(Editor’s note: Sandy Cook, committee chair for Lockport Troop 855, posted this note to Facebook. Go get one if you need one. The photo above is of the Fraser fir we purchased.)

To our LewPort Community: due to a lack of cooperation from the weather during the weekdays and most of our scouts getting the fever/respiratory thing last week that’s going around Western New York, we have a few unsold trees that we will be putting outside the fencing tomorrow.

Please: if you need a tree and couldn’t afford one this year: come and pick one up tomorrow after 10 am! Our lot is on the Southeast corner of Academy Park in Lewiston (across from the Carwash). We will put them near the 3 tables out front.

Thank you to all of our yearly supporters, seeing you year after year brings us so much happiness.

We love watching your children grow up and our visits with you each December!!

The boys and our parents appreciate your support for our Scouting Program!! Our boys are learning skills that will continue to guide them through their lifetimes!!

Many thanks to our Friends in 824 who were here to lend hands and muscles to our fundraiser!! You made it more fun!!

And to my 855 Parents: Thank you for all of your time and patience!!!

Merry Christmas and wishes for A Very Happy, Healthy New Year from Scout Troop 855!!

Sandy Cook
