SHOPLIFTING: At 11:40 a.m. Thursday police received a call from Pine Avenue 7/11 for a report of a shoplifter. An employee followed the suspect who went in Mario’s. Police arrive, saw the suspect exit and confronted him. “Man I have a problem,” he said. “I am sick.” “If they don’t want to press charges I will tell them where I stashed it.” The suspect had taken a 12-pack and an 18-pack of Corona valued at 46.98. He was charged with petit larceny and trespassed from the store.

NEIGHBOR DISPUTE: Police were called to 2758 Falls Street for a neighbor dispute at about 2:50 p.m. Thursday. A woman came kicked in the door of a downstairs apartment and threatened occupants with a hammer over an allegedly stolen package. The suspect was tackled and held until police arrived. She was charged with menacing, burglary and criminal mischief.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police were called to the River Inn on Buffalo Avenue for a report of criminal mischief at about 12:15 a.m. Thursday. A suspect was in the office of the motel. He had been trying to help a friend when she became violent. A window, valued at $300 was broken. He was charged with criminal mischief.
