Every couple decades, there is a seminal game – one that is unforgettable as an indelible tattoo for a team. Sometimes, it’s a good one, like that game against Ottawa, years ago. Sometimes you wish you could forget but can’t, like when Lucic ran Miller and no one did anything. Last night, the Sabres against the Lightning refused to kowtow.
