ASSAULT: Police were called to 10th and Ferry for a report of an injured man at 5:37 a.m. Sunday. The victim, who was heavily intoxicated, said he had gone to a nearby address to drink beer when he was asked, by people he didn’t know, for money he did not give. He was beaten with a metal bat and battered with fists. Police retrieved a wheelchair from the emergency room and transported him for treatment. Injuries included a hand laceration and suspected broken arm.
UNWANTED GUEST: Police were called to Seneca Niagara Casino at about 2:16 a.m. Saturday for an intoxicated man refusing to leave the table gaming area. Security had called him a cab but he refused to leave. He was charged with trespassing and removed from the premises.
ASSAULT: At 5:02 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the New Carpet Inn, 6811 Niagara Falls Blvd. for a report of a dispute. A woman said she was at New Carpet Inn when she was approached by a person who asked her to leave because the manager was acting crazy. That manager approached her with a ballbat. The victim said “what are you going to do, hit me with a bat?” The suspect allegedly said “play with me” and hit her on the elbow. The suspect was charged with 2nd degree assault with a weapon.
