I took a day off from writing about the crisis in our Republic but then I saw the white hat with gold trim and couldn’t help myself. Gas prices spike

Saturday, at Gail’s on the Tuscarora Reservation, gas prices per gallon had increased from $2.75 a couple weeks ago to $2.99. It’s another Trump tax, this time, the cost of war. Submarine torpedoes warship

Oh sure, it was in international waters and not engaged in combat but hey, no country has sunk a ship with a torpedo since WWII. This is great. “Did you see the torpedo hit that Iranian boat?” a friend said as I recently patronized a local business she owns. “Could you imagine, being on that submarine and getting the order to push the button. ‘I finally get to do it and it isn’t practice.’ ” It was all gleeful and giddy with no remorse.
