Friends of the Turtle will be hosting a candlelight vigil at Cataract House Park at 9:15 p.m. tonight to honor the passing of indigenous architect Dennis Sun Rhodes who designed The Turtle building adjacent to the park.
Parks Canada will be lighting the Falls purple from 10 to 10:15 p.m. in honor of Sun Rhodes as well as to commemorate 30-years since the closure of the Turtle as a community center dedicated to indigenous culture and history.

Saw Neil last night. Outstanding performance!!. Not sure about your experience, but the CNE/Budweiser stage combo made for a nightmare leaving the venue.

There is certainly room for debate about who is the better choice to run the Pavilion, and I am not going to enter into that one as I have no knowledge of either group.
Why don't you see any of this information in the Gazette? Do they also support the Mayor?
The Gazette has two reporters and if Rick Pfeiffer, who has been doing the work of 3 people for more than a decade, writes anything that reflects negatively on the mayor, he calls and complains to management.
