June 14, 2025, marks the convergence of four significant events in the national media. Three of them are symbolically connected:
Both President Wilson, in 1916, and President Coolidge, in 1927, issued proclamations asking for June 14 to be observed as the National Flag Day. But it wasn’t until August 3, 1949, that Congress approved the national observance, and President Harry Truman signed it into law.
Saw Neil last night. Outstanding performance!!. Not sure about your experience, but the CNE/Budweiser stage combo made for a nightmare leaving the venue.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 74 and low of 62 degrees. Fog in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon, overcast in the evening,
There is certainly room for debate about who is the better choice to run the Pavilion, and I am not going to enter into that one as I have no knowledge of either group.
Why don't you see any of this information in the Gazette? Do they also support the Mayor?
The Gazette has two reporters and if Rick Pfeiffer, who has been doing the work of 3 people for more than a decade, writes anything that reflects negatively on the mayor, he calls and complains to management.
