PETIT LARCENY: Police were called to Portage Road Tops at about 1:30 p.m. Monday for a report of a shoplifter. A South Avenue man attempted to take meat valued at $80.67 without paying. He was charged with petit larceny.
MENACING: Police were dispatched to a 71st Street address at about 5:11 p.m. Monday for a report of a neighbor dispute. The complainant said a neighbor had been hostile and subjected him to road rage. Police spoke to the neighbor who yelled “I am on your ass bitch.” Police advised the man to discontinue his behavior. He went in his garage and, as police were leaving, yelled “fuck you” at his neighboor while displaying middle fingers. He then yelled at his neighbor “come outside, I am going to beat your ass.” Police charged the suspect with menacing and disorderly conduct.
