On Saturday, May 17 the Cayuga Youth Athletic Association held their opening day with the Niagara Falls High School marching band leading the parade. After remarks from league president Stephanie Sinclair, some friendly competitions were held such as furthest pitch and running, and then all team members enjoyed a grilled hot dog and a bounce house. A basket auction was also held to assist the league toward expenses such as uniforms and equipment. The community spirit warmed up a chilly morning!

Sunny, with a high of 37 and low of 14 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear for the afternoon and evening,
