Food Truck Thursdays return
Another year of Food Truck Thursday’s is in sight. Kicking off June 26th, the series which has seen seven successful years will continue this year and operate for 10 consecutive weeks, concluding on August 28th. The Niagara Falls Train Station, located at 825 Depot Ave West, will offer free parking for this free event. You can expect two food vendors and an entertainer every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine.
Mayor Restaino has put weekly focus on community engagement and the importance of spending time outside this year. “This event is a means of getting out during the day, staying connected with people around you, and meeting them for a quick lunch.”
Attendees can expect to see food vendors from years past such as Dirty Bird Chicken & Waffles, Mother Cluckers, Fat Bob’s BBQ, and Steaksters. New this year will be The Sangwich Mother, The Rolling Cannoli, Parkers Pit BBQ, Cater2U Kitchen and the Cheesy Chick.
The weekly schedule will be released on Monday June 2nd and can be found on the city’s website (niagarafallsusa.org), and Facebook page. Residents are encouraged to sign up for text reminders regarding events around the city by registering their cell phone number on the city website under the ‘Community’ section.
Food Truck Thursdays is represented by the Niagara Falls Office of Economic Development. The sponsor for this year’s series is Niagara’s Choice Federal Credit Union. For more information, contact Morgan Genovese, Director of Business Development at morgan.genovese@niagarafallsny.gov
