ILLEGAL VEHICLE: Police on patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard near 56th Street at 2:16 a.m. Saturday were alerted to a suspended registration by a plate reader and executed a traffic stop, charging a Linwood Avenue man with no insurance, and driving a vehicle with a suspended license and registration.

PORCH PIRATE: Police were called to a Hyde Park Boulevard address Sunday afternoon after the theft of an Amazon delivery containing Carhartt shirts and string line.

HOME DEPOT THEFT: Police were called to Home Depot at about 4 p.m. Saturday after an 86th Street man attempted to leave the store without paying for items valued at more than $800. He was charged with petit larceny.

MENACING: A Niagara Falls Boulevard man was charged with menacing following an argument at 3:56 p.m. Saturday. Occupants of a room at the hotel reported the suspect, staying in the room next door, interrupted the viewing a Wrestlemania by knocking on the door and saying “I am going to fucking kill you and your wife.” The suspect, who was known to police, tried to explain it was just an argument between friends. The suspect, transported to police headquarters was being moved in the elevator when, while handcuffed spit at and attacked an officer, damaging his Apple watch and causing the officer to call for backup. The suspect was charged with assault on a police officer, simple assault and criminal mischief.

DWI: A 2:54 a.m. Sunday, police noticed a speeding vehicle on Hyde Park Boulevard and noticed it failed to stop at Hyde Park and Ferry as well as Hyde Park and Walnut. The vehicle then turned onto Pine Avenue and quickly onto 34th Street. The occupants were confused about why police stopped them. The suspect, who speaks limited English, admitted having consumed 6 Coronas during the course of the night, failed field sobriety tests and blew a BAC of .2%. He was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC over .08% and failure to stop at a stop sign.

DRUNKEN DRIVING: Police responded to a vehicle parked in the Niagara Falls Boulevard turn lane near Tuscarora at about 12:27 a.m. Monday. The vehicle was in park with the ignition running. The driver was massively uncooperative, refusing field sobriety tests, slipping out of handcuffs and arguing and acting aggressively every step of the way. Police charged her with driving while intoxicated.
