Short Take Sports
About those Friday fights.

Fight Night took us back thirty years, as did the recent election. Boxing at its best is a savage sport. Tonight, we get to see two women compete in a roped cage and try to knock each other out, and also the main event, Tyson and Paul. And they say football is a brutal sport!
The preliminary weigh-in was where both fighters came at the same time to get weighed and there was some hype for the upcoming fight. Tyson showed up in a G string enough to make any French whore blush. Tyson smacks Paul to heighten the hype.
The first match was between two relatively unknowns, one of whom had enough tattoos to match the famous 'Jelly Roll' of country fame, which resulted in a split decision. The second is almost identical, but there are two knockdowns
The third was the ladies, and in the middle of this, the screen froze. I restarted the Netflix live event that took me back to the first bout. Taylor was awarded the win with most of the crowd disagreeing.
Main event... Tyson and Paul mismatched from the start. Tyson 57 and Paul 29 They Moped around slowly in the ring," . At one point, I thought Tyson would start knawing on Paul's ear. This ended in a decision for Paul.
All in all " alot to do about nothing "
WaPo shows Josh some love
I found this link to a long-form Washington Post story about Josh Allen on the TwoBillsDrive message board. It didn’t have a paywall and reflects wonderfully on the maturation of the Bills quarterback. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/11/16/josh-allen-buffalo-bills-chiefs/?
