TRAFFIC STOP: An officer on patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 9 a.m. Wednesday executed a traffic stop after a plate reader alerted to a suspended registration. Aaron Reid, 38, of 404 71st St. was charged with improper plates, no inspection and driving an unregistered vehicle.
SHOPLIFTING: Police were called to Home Depot at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a shoplifter. Wade Narehood, 34, of 1231 92nd St. was charged with petit larceny for allegedly attempting to leave the store without paying for items valued at $25.33.
PETIT LARCENY: An officer moonlighting at Walmart was called to the asset protection office at about 1 p.m. Wednesday where Jahnaya Carter, 27, of 2710 Monroe Avenue was in custody. She allegedly took a crib and bedding from the shelf, brought it to customer service and said she was going to exchange it for new goods. She had been observed walking into the store empty handed and was charged with petit larceny, burglary and criminal trespass.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Walnut Avenue resident reported that she suspected her neighbor smashed a window at about 12:04 a.m. Thursday.
