CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Frontier Avenue resident reported someone unsuccessfully attempted to break into her home sometime early Wednesday morning.

TRAFFIC STOP: A plate reader hit on a suspended registration on Builder’s Way at about 10:49 a.m. Wednesday. Walter Schryver, 49, of 2246 LaSalle Ave. was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving with a suspended license and no insurance.

BURGLARY: An Ashland Avenue resident reported while he was away for a few weeks, someone broke into his garage and tore down drywall apparently looking for anything of value. Nothing was taken but damage was estimated at $3,000.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED: Police on patrol on 19th Street at about 9:50 a.m. Thursday got a hit on a stolen Cadillac and executed a traffic stop. Larnell Briggs of Buffalo was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

MENACING: Police were called to the 2800 block of 20th Street for a report of a suspect with a knife. Raquel Renfro, 24, of 8710 Niagara Falls Blvd. allegedly threatened someone with a knife and was charged with 2nd degree menacing with a weapon.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Willow Avenue resident reported someone threw a rock threw her living room window at about 1 a.m. Friday.
