Cheyanne Myers is a military veteran and mother inspired by the intersection between practical needs and artistic expression. Her specialty is creating wearable art in the form of custom canvas shoes. although larger canvases allow her more artistic freedom of both size and materials.

Her art will be on display through Oct. 5 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center. Admission is free. Enter through the red doors at the corner of Portage and Pine.
