Assemblyman Mike Norris, a Republican who has represented much of Niagara County since 2016, is in line for a seat on the State Supreme Court.
Norris, a long-time political operative, has never wavered from the side of WROTB Chairperson Henry Wojtaszek in his ongoing squabbles with former State Senator George Maziarz.
Norris has also been reelected three times without ever facing a significant challenge from Democrats. Republicans successfully gerrymandered the Assembly district to ensure it remains rural and covers an area that has a long history of supporting GOP candidates.
