Family sues over Lewiston radiation

Contaminate industrial waste generated by the company that owned what is now TAM Ceramics in Niagara Falls was used as fill in along Upper Mountain Road in Lewiston and resulted in radiation levels 100s of times higher than acceptable.

Tracey Palmeri, 44, a school teacher and tavern operator died of breast cancer in 2022. Her surviving spouse, Philip, is suing NL industries, the successor company of the former TAM owner.
