I don’t know how it will go, but I can’t imagine the Sabres coming out flat at home or in the 1st period. I love the romantic notion of him coming home and succeeding with the Sabres. Five seasons would push him past Scott. A cup lands him in the Hall of Fame. I am old enough to remember Lou Saban’s return. I knew Lindy mostly as one of the half-dozen dads always present at youth soccer games and high school orchestra concerts in Clarence. He always had a kind word.
