CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Sometime in the Monday/Tuesday overnight someone threw a rock through the window of Jay’s Truck Stop on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

CARS VANDALIZED: Bundy’s Auto Repair on Niagara Falls Boulevard reported sometime in the Tuesday overnight, a man in a tshirt with a string backpack ripped the wipers off 6 cars causing $600 in damage.

CAR VANDALIZED: Someone ripped the wipers off a car at the Comfort Inn sometime Tuesday morning.

GUARD ATTACKED: At about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, police checking on the Niagara Falls Memorial Emergency Room because of recent issues came upon a scene where Daniel Stewart, 60, of 1313 Main St. had allegedly attacked a security guard who asked him to put on a shirt or leave the premises. Stewart was charged with criminal trespass and assault.

PHONE ISSUE: Police were called to the Verizon store on Military Road at about 8 p.m. Tuesday after an incident in which Shaneequa Smith, 29, began throwing things and smashed the front door. Smith had attempted to buy a phone without ID. She was charged with criminal mischief.

STOLEN VEHICLE: A guest at Wingate by Wyndham on Rainbow Boulevard reported his Hyundai stolen in the Tuesday/Wednesday overnight.

BURGLARY: Thieves smashed a window and gained entry to Niagara Mist Vapors on Niagara Falls Boulevard early Wednesday morning causing $3,000 in damage to the window and stealing $2,000 in merchandise.

STOLEN CHECK: A Lockport Road business reported someone stole a mailed check in the amount of $2300 and deposited it in a Wells Fargo bank account.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A resident of the 600 block of 38th Street reported someone pulled the grate off her front door, causing $60 in damage sometime early Wednesday morning.

ILLEGAL DUMPING: Police were called to a Rhode Island Avenue location for a report of illegal dumping and notified the DPW of brush and debris discarded there.

WALLET TAKEN: A patron at Esporta reported the theft of a debit card and $100 from his wallet while he worked out.
