Oh sure, accidents are being reduced on Ferry and Walnut and elsewhere. That doesn’t mean some other bikelanes are not smart.
Consider Niagara Falls Boulevard or Grand Island Boulevard. Both are marked as bike lanes and horrible places to ride.
Riding across Grand Island to get to Tonawanda is one of the most unpleasant things ever. Taking the West River Bike path is very pleasant but twice as long.
